There's power in the words!
If you are Chinese, i bet you heard of an ancient chinese folktale, Journey to the west, the monkey king's master; the monk who was appointed to find a devine scroll, is always the target of the monsters and demons, cause they believe whoever eats the monk's meat can have everlasting life.
Well sorry to disappoint them, they had been looking for a wrong person. Moreover, even they had found the right one, before Him there's no place for monsters and demons.
You know who This Person is:
(John 6:53-58)
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.
54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed.
56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.
58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”
See how many times Jesus asked His people to 'eat' His 'flesh' and 'drink' His 'blood', He is asking us to out Him in us, not just part of us, but He wants us to be full of Him, so that His power can dwell in us and give us eternal life! (greek: zoe, God kind of life!) So that we can live forever!
So how do we 'eat' Him?
(John:1:1-5)
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us...
Jesus's flesh=Word of God! To 'eat Jesus flesh' is to study the Word of God, chew it! digest it! make it part of you, or better still, make it all of you! Let it fill you, and you know what?
(Proverbs 4:20-22)
20 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.
21 Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart;
22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.
GOD IS CONSISTENT throughout the whole Bible! Praise the Lord!

cool, Jou!! This is very interesting.. Amen!! To eat Jesus' flesh is to eat, chew and digest on His Words. And also, the Holy Communion too.. It oso symbolises His Flesh.. Whoppie!! Well still.. In any ways, either His Words or the Holy Communion, it's still His Flesh that gives life and life more abundantly! Amen.. :D

haha! Ann: those demon not very wise lah, if tang sen's flesh and blood is really so 'li hai' he don't have to go and seek the devine scroll already! and i don't think Jesus need protection from a monkey, a pig and a river demon.. :P
WHahaha...True, true, the right to eat at my Father's table is only given to us, those who believe, those who overcomes!
